When purchasing a pallet of waste bags, the offer must describe both the exact bag and the total number of bags. A price for "one pallet" is not enough to compare two offers. Also clarify how the goods are to be received and distributed before you commit the purchase to a large quantity.
Determine the goods before you choose the order size
Use the model you have approved for the container and waste type as a starting point. Check item number, measurements and quantity per item. roll in the pallet offer. Do not assume that a pallet item is identical to another item just because both are called "120 litres, 55 my".

Convert the pallet to sacks
Enter the package contents in the purchase order. If the offer states parcels, both rolls per package and package per pallet with. If it indicates rolls directly, that number is used:
Number of bags = rolls per pallet × bags per roll.
Nordic Safety's pallet lot with clear 120-liter waste bags in 55 my is described with 1,200 rolls and 10 bags per roll: 1,200 × 10 = 12,000 sacks. It is the package content for this item, not a standard number for all pallets. Check the current product description when ordering.
Compare offers with the same costs
Calculate the total price to get the goods to the agreed delivery point. Include any shipping and handling fees, and use the same VAT basis in both offers.
Delivered price per sack = total product price and delivery costs ÷ number of sacks.
A pure calculation example: 12,000 sacks for a commodity price of DKK 12,000 plus DKK 600 in shipping gives 12,600 ÷ 12,000 = DKK 1.05 per sack. All amounts in the example are intended to be exclusive. VAT These are not Nordic Safety's prices or shipping terms.
Then use the company's actual consumption to assess whether the entire quantity can be used. A low unit price does not help if a large part of the purchase remains standing because the containers or needs change.
Clarify space and goods receipt
Have the following written into the agreement or order confirmation, where relevant:
- The dimensions, height and total weight of the pallet, so that the warehouse can plan space and handling.
- Delivery address, contact person and access conditions at the reception.
- Who takes care of unloading and what equipment has been agreed upon.
- Any conditions regarding pallet exchange, pallet fee and delivery to several addresses.
The information cannot be derived from the number of rolls. Also agree internally who will count the units received and register the distribution to the departments. Save the unit numbers together with the order so that the invoice and delivery note can be reconciled on the same basis.
Choose pallet or a smaller order
Only choose the pallet lot when the product selection has been clarified, the quantity matches the consumption and the reception is planned. If you are still trying out a new bag, you should clarify a smaller quantity before the entire purchase is changed.
